Dünnschicht-Photovoltaik – Wo geht die Reise hin?
Thin-Film Industry Forum 2011 am 14. und 15. April 2011 in Berlin Adlershof
Photovoltaik-Dünnschichtmodule sind nach wie vor auf dem Vormarsch – günstige Modulpreise und ein geringerer Energie und Materialeinsatz bei der Produktion verschaffen der Dünnschicht-Technologie Vorteile gegenüber den mono- und polykristallinen Silizium-PV-Modulen. Zahlreiche Photovoltaik-Firmen investieren in den Aufbau von Dünnschicht-Produktionsstandorten und erhöhen ihre Fertigungskapazitäten.
Einen Überblick über den aktuellen Stand der Dünnschicht-Technologie und über die am Markt agierenden Firmen gibt am 14.und 15. April 2011 in Berlin Adlershof bereits zum 3. Mal das internationale “Thin-Film Industry Forum”.
Führende Dünnschicht-Produzenten wie First Solar, Inventux, Sulfurcell, Masdar PV, Abound Solar, Best Solar, Avancis and Solarion werden Themen diskutieren wie: Wo stehen die führenden Dünnschicht-Produzenten, wie schätzen sie ihre eigene Marktposition ein? Was ist ihre Prognose für 2011 und 2012? In welchem Marktsegment installieren sie am meisten? Hat sich der Wirkungsgrad der Zellen 2010 verbessert? Wie sind die Aussichten für die kommenden Jahre? Was ist im Bereich Entwicklung und Effizienzsteigerung finanzierbar? Welche Technologie wird sich am Markt durchsetzen und warum?
Das Forum findet im Rahmen der “3rd Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week“ statt – der weltgrößten Thin-Film-Veranstaltung, die auch in diesem Jahr mit wissenschaftlichen workshops und einem praxisnahen Industrieforum eine Brücke zwischen Wissenschaft und Industrie baut. Veranstaltet wird die Woche in Kooperation der Solarpraxis mit dem Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin sowie dem Kompetenzzentrum Dünnschicht- und Nanotechnologie für Photovoltaik Berlin (PVcomB). Erwartet werden mehr als 400 Teilnehmer aus der ganzen Welt.
Als weiterer Baustein der Dünnschicht-Woche bringt die Konferenz „Solar meets Glass – 2nd Industry Summit for Quality, Logistics and Materials“ am 13. April die Solar- und die Glasbranche zu aktuellen Themen an einen Tisch.

3rd Thin-Film Week

The Photovoltaics ThinÂ]Film Week is the world's unique week devoted to thinÂ]film photovoltaics. During the week, specialized scientific workshops meet with a practical industry forum on topics such as market development, production and financing. Both experts from R&D as well as executives and managers from the solar industry will meet at this international event in Adlershof. Additionally, investors and representatives from the press and politics will be present.
Once more, the Photovoltaics ThinÂ]Film Week will create a unique bridge between science and industry.

The conference
The 3rd "Thin-Film Industry Forum" on 14th and 15th April 2011 in Berlin will look at all the issues around thin-film technology - from the political environment, through international market development, finance and marketing, to sales, production capacity, availability of materials, quality assurance and recycling.
The Thin-Film Industry Forum will form a key event that will bring the players of the solar industry together with representatives from politics, the financial world, the press and the industry's suppliers.
3rd Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week
The “Thin-Film Industry Forum” will be embedded in the “3rd Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week.”
The “Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week” is jointly organized by the knowledge provider Solarpraxis and PVcomB (Competence Centre Thin-Film- and Nanotechnology for Photovoltaics Berlin) together with HZB (Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie).
During the week, key experts from research and development will meet with representatives from industry and commerce.
Through PVcomB’s specialist R&D workshops and the “Thin-Film Industry Forum”, the event will cover all relevant aspects of thin-film photovoltaics, ranging from the current state of research and technology to production and market-oriented topics.
The 2nd Thin-Film Industry Forum was held on 22 to 23 April 2010 in Berlin-Adlershof, again organized as part of the “Photovoltaics Thin-Film Week“ event. With 370 participants, this is the world‘s largest event exclusively dedicated to thin film.
